Lincoln's first comprehensive website dedicated to events and entertainment launched yesterday (23rd February 2010) at an exclusive party hosted by The Green Room Restaurant at the Lincoln Hotel on Eastgate.

Over 80 guests attended the event, enjoying unique LoveLincoln.co.uk cocktails, canapés with a local twist and a presentation about the new website which provides an up-to-the-minute guide to things to see and do in Lincoln. It includes everything from clubs, bars and live music to theatre, arts and comedy.

Niki Shepheard, Sales and Marketing Manager at LoveLincoln.co.uk, said: "We were thrilled with the success of the launch of LoveLincoln.co.uk and hope people will embrace it and make it an integral part of planning their social calendar.

"Lincoln has changed dramatically over the last decade as the expansion of the university has brought thousands of students and encouraged new businesses and entertainment venues to the city.

Until now Lincoln has lacked a comprehensive events and entertainment website - but LoveLincoln.co.uk aims to fill that gap.

The site features a complete and up-to-date list of events and venues including restaurants, theatres, bars, clubs, galleries, cinema, museums, live music, comedy, dance and exhibitions.

It also offers an interactive experience for users with blogs, reviews, forums and galleries.
