Our charity
Every time a company pays to use our services the children at Rainbows Children’s Hospice in Loughborough benefit.
Rainbows is the children’s hospice for the East Midlands and South Yorkshire and our chosen charity.
Rainbows opened in 1994 to provide respite, palliative and terminal care to families with a child who has a life-limiting illness.
The aim is to provide holistic and individualised care for the children and young people who stay there.
As we all know some young people prefer a lie in (especially at weekends) while others are up early ready to start the day. The morning could begin with a soak in the jacuzzi bath accompanied by music and multi-sensory lighting, followed by a massage from a complementary therapist.
After breakfast it may be off to school for some children or a morning of play and activities with the play specialists.
In the afternoon children might take a music therapy session or a trip out on the minibus, followed by tea and perhaps a story or DVD in the children’s lounge.
We value the work of our region’s children’s hospice and donate a percentage of our pre-tax profits to Rainbows.
