The UK’s market-leading insurance provider for the residential lettings sector has appointed Shooting Star PR to handle its local, regional and national PR account.
Based in Lincoln, HomeLet employs 234 people and offers a broad range of products and services to landlords, tenants and letting agents across the UK.
HomeLet and its sister company Letsure offer tenant referencing products to assist in the selection of the right people for the right tenancies as well as insurance policies designed to safeguard clients from the pitfalls of being a landlord or a tenant.
The company’s suite of insurance products encompasses buildings insurance, contents insurance and rental income guarantee.
HomeLet put its PR account out to tender in January and has appointed Lincoln-based Shooting Star PR to manage its local, regional and national PR strategy.
“After careful consideration of various PR agencies, we are delighted to have chosen Shooting Star PR to work with us on our 2008 strategic plans,” said John Boyle, Managing Director of HomeLet.
“ We feel Shooting Star have the qualities we were looking for in a provider and are confident that they will deliver the results HomeLet require during 2008 and beyond.”
Other clients on Shooting Star PR’s roster include the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society, the University of Lincoln, Innovation Lincolnshire, property and land agents JHWalter, construction firm Rand Group, Crystal Motor Group and Lincolnshire Development.
