LINCOLN PR FIRM TAKES ON RISING STAR

Lincoln-based PR consultancy Shooting Star PR have marked their first year in business by adding to their team.

Directors Jez Ashberry and Kate Strawson have taken on Lucy Clegg (21) as an Account Executive to help manage their fast-growing client list.

Lucy graduated this year with a first-class honours degree in journalism from the University of Lincoln, where Jez and Kate previously worked as press officers before setting up Shooting Star PR.

“Our business has grown quickly over the past 12 months and we needed to expand in order to continue to offer a top-quality service to our clients,” said Jez.

“Lucy is fast becoming an invaluable member of our team and we are delighted that she has agreed to join us.”

Lucy added: “I’m very happy that Kate and Jez have offered me this opportunity. This is a fantastic job and I’ve been made to feel more than welcome.”

Clients on the Shooting Star PR roster include the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society, Lincoln City FC, property valuers and auctioneers JHWalter and the electronics and lighting group MPW.
