Shooting Star Scoop University Contract

Lincoln public relations specialists Shooting Star PR have been taken on to look after PR matters for the University of Lincoln.

Directors Jez Ashberry and Kate Strawson are handling press office work as well as corporate publications for the university.

The university is to advertise several vacant posts in its Marketing Department including Communications Manager, Press and Media Officer Communications Assistant.

Until the posts are filled Shooting Star PR will be handling all PR matters for the university.

Ian Cairns, Director of Marketing at the University of Lincoln, said he had full confidence in Shooting Star’s ability to deliver a first-class service.

"Jez and Kate have extensive experience in higher education PR and media relations and we are confident that they will do an excellent job for the university," he said.

Shooting Star PR is a new public relations consultancy based in Sparkhouse Studios on Lincoln’s Ropewalk.
