CITY LIVING HITS THE STREETS IN MARCH

Jez Ashberry and Kate Strawson of Shooting Star PR will be drawing on their experience as journalists to provide the editorial input for a new glossy magazine for Lincoln.

City Living, a vibrant lifestyle magazine for the city, is to be launched in March 2007 by County Life Ltd, the publishers of Lincolnshire Life magazine, of which Jez was editor between 1994 and 1998.

The new title will appeal to young professionals and is a reflection of Lincoln’s new-found style and energy.

City Living aims to capture that optimistic feeling and give Lincoln residents a flavour of what’s going on in the city.

The March 2007 launch issue features the latest hot properties, live music and theatre previews, entertainment listings, special fashion and beauty sections, tips for eating in and much more.

Lincoln MP Gillian Merron talks about her holiday as a volunteer in Guyana and the reviews section will have the lowdown on the latest CDs, books and cinema releases.

City Living will be delivered via a professionally controlled distribution network to ABC1 households in the city and will also be available in most good newsagents across Lincoln and beyond.

Shooting Star PR was set up in Lincoln last year by former university press officers Jez Ashberry and Kate Strawson, who are both experienced journalists and PR practitioners.
