Meet the team

Shooting Star PR is Lincoln’s first dedicated PR agency specialising in raising the profile and enhancing the reputation of businesses in Lincolnshire.

We aim to provide an efficient, friendly and helpful service and have the flexibility to tailor our services to meet your particular requirements so you only pay for what you need.

We offer a free one-hour consultation at your office or workplace so that you can chat about your PR needs and ask our advice. It’s totally free and doesn’t commit you to anything.

Directors Jez Ashberry and Kate Strawson have over 20 years’ experience in journalism and public relations in the public and private sector.

Jez Ashberry

Jez is an experienced reporter, magazine editor and media relations manager. He specialises in editorial work, from copywriting and proof-reading to feature writing and annual reports. After 14 years’ working in the media industry in Lincolnshire he has built up an impressive contacts book and has established excellent relations with journalists at a local, regional and national level.

Kate Strawson

Kate began her career as a journalist in newspapers and radio and has worked as a public relations expert in both the public and private sector. She is a skilled media relations expert with excellent contacts at a local, regional and national level. Kate is experienced in all aspects of PR from developing innovative PR strategies to managing promotional events.

LIZ DOLBY

Liz joined Shooting Star PR in March 2008 after two years working in the PR team at Derbyshire County Council. She has a first-class honours degree in journalism from the London College of Communications.
